“Jon and I started chatting in September of 2022. I’m in West Virginia and he’s in Ohio, an almost 4-hour drive away. We still wanted to meet in person, so we arranged a midway meetup along the Ohio river and enjoyed a vegan dinner together getting to know each other. We started taking turns making the trip to each other’s homes every couple of weeks.”
“A year later we met up at the same place along the river to celebrate our anniversary, still being long distance. Almost two years later, we are planning our move to live together in a new city. We connect on so many levels and continue to grow and challenge each other. Our favorite times have been in the woods hiking, in the kitchen (he’s a chef and I’m a ‘wanna be’) creating and eating and living our best lives yet.”
